Food for thought

Food is very important to me. I feel that I had to limit my culinary selection to mere trio, I would make it flexible. They would have to be Flour, Eggs and bacon. My reasons are entirely utilitarian. Flour is a universally flexible starch; I could make bread or cakes with it. Eggs are so versatile! Did you know that the folds in a chef’s hat used to represent each way a chef mastered the preparation of an egg? Finally there is bacon. Bacon is really awesome. But also, I need a source of fat if I want to cook my eggs. There is an additional benefit of salt content. Often dishes with bacon have no need for additional sodium. It’s not flashy, but I believe my selection of food is versatile.
