Perk Up Your Collection

Bathrooms are getting more interesting than usual. Since more and more women are getting obsessed with shower and bath products. From candle scents to shower curtains up to the color of soaps and loofah; everything seemed to be well coordinated with the theme. It is pretty obvious how they put so much effort in making their bathrooms clean and aesthetically pleasing. Bathroom sinks and vanities are available in wide range of choices. In fact, some of which are personally tailored to match the owner’s bathroom theme. Isn’t your bathroom collection looks fabulous if you have elegant storage place for it?

The Truth

The truth is I live a very poor and humble life. The money I work for I use it to pay bills, rent, loans. I hardly ever have any money remaining to by Groceries, entertainment or even clothes for myself. Most people don’t’ know that I miss meals, I have a bare cupboards, I haven’t bought a new shoes in two years or work outfit in 5 years! I however always keep myself clean and happy and a lot of people think I have money. The truth is I don’t and I don’t’ mind because I am not attached to material things. I am grateful all that I do have and that’s what matters most!

Where To Hide Your Keepsakes?

Keepsakes, tokens, souvenirs or relics- what ever you call them; one thing is for sure. They have sentimental value. Living in a small accommodation should not hinder you from collecting keepsakes. Since you cherish them, it is important to keep them somewhere safely. Large glass cabinets take so much space. You can make use your vertical storage spaces such as open shelves but overcrowding them creates clutter. On the other hand, it is not really necessary to flaunt your keepsakes to your visitors. Some of your keepsakes might be too personal to share. Instead, keep them on your bed frames with drawers.

Retirement

I look forward to getting off from work on a regular basis. I am an employee that works from 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday. I am always looking forward to the clock striking 5. At 5pm, my day truly begins. I am able to relax and do thing the way I want them done. No more taking orders or stressing about upcoming deadlines. At 5pm, I can relax. I can go to the beach, read a book, or start a book club. The decision is mine! The only down fall would be I have to wake up the next day, and do it all again. The next thing I am looking forward to would be retirement.

Weekend Fun!

This past weekend, I did a couple of different activities. On Friday, The love of my life took my out for a wonderful evening. He decided to take me out for dinner and a movie. We ate dinner at Red Lobster. Red Lobster has all you can eat shrimp for a limited time. Then we went to a movie. We watch Lion King in 3D. The Lion King will always be a classic and one of my all time favorites. On Saturday, the weather was perfect for the beach. The love of my life took me to the beach to have drinks. It was wonderful. The waves crashing on the shore is very relaxing. On Sunday, the love of my life and I relaxed all day. After a hard week’s work and a busy weekend, we needed so time to reflect and prepare for a busy work week.

Pedestal Sinks or Vanities for Bathrooms?

Are you renovating your bathroom? If you are, you may choose between pedestal sinks or vanities for bathrooms. Pedestal sinks are just plain and simple. This can be chosen if you have limited space inside your bathrooms. You just have to install mirror above the sink so that it can be useful. And, you may need to add other cabinets for additional storage for the linens and towels. But if you are going to use bath vanities, cabinets are already included below the sink. If you have enough space, bath vanities are ideal to be chosen. In fact, if there are plenty of users, you can have the double sink bath vanity.

Time to Unleash

Being a jovial guy I have not kept much from people around me and people very close to me. But even then sometimes it is good to keep certain things to ourselves. The part of my life that I prefer not to tell to people closer to me is about my first love that happened some years before. I was doing my high school grade at that time and she was from my class only. We fell in love and had roamed around the city a couple of times enjoying ourselves. Soon she left the school and never contacted me. The thought about it always upsets me and hence I would prefer not to share this to people.

Why Choose Contemporary Platform Beds?

Definitely, we all want to have a bedroom where we can rest, relax, and enjoy our private moment. That’s why choosing the right beds is important to us. They should bring comfort, relaxation, beauty, and durability while we are using them. And, contemporary platform beds are invented to give us these features and benefits. We don’t have to deal with the bedsprings since we are directly lying down on the mattress. Sometimes, bedsprings can give us discomfort as they become noisy and hard. The underneath portion of the platform beds can be used as storages for our other stuffs. Lastly, Platform beds give elegance and rich-feel ambiance to us.

My Favorite Job

I have had a lot of different jobs in my life. I have worked in offices for travel coordinators, doctors, lawyers and construction companies. I have also worked as a barista and coffeehouse manager, as well as other retail and customer service based jobs. In the end,t he ones that I enjoyed the most were the ones that allowed me to do my job on my own terms and in my own way, dealing with the general public as little as possible. If I had to pick a dream job it would be one that involved an assistant of my own to deal with people and I could just focus on getting the job itself done without the hassle of other people.

Where in the World

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would like to visit Scotland. There are a whole list of reasons I could choose from including the accent, or the food, maybe even the thought of running into a band of bag pipe players, but I think I would really enjoy the people and the beauty of the land. All that lush green landscape is something that I want to see with my own two eyes. I would also really like to have the experience of staying in an actual, historical castle and this is an experience that visiting Scotland would allow me to have.

Parent’s love in a loveseat

Our parents on their old years will be spending most of their time inside the house. They might be weak enough not to go out and have some activities like what they used to do. And during these times, it’s very important that we let them feel that we love them and by simply giving them special gifts such as an outdoor loveseat. With this loveseat they can able to spend much comfortable time together while breathing fresh air outside. They can entertain their visitors there, do their hobbies, and even have a good rest. Still there will be no boring moments for them.

Thursday Nights at the Bar

When I was in graduate school, all the “cool” kids would get drunk every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at a bar. Because of peer pressure, I spent a lot of my time and money at the bar. I did not get as much studying done, and I spent the tiny bit of money I earned as a graduate assistant. Most of my bar friends are no longer my friends. Those friendships were not healthy or good for me. If I had to do it all over again, I would not go to the bar - at least, not three times a week. I would save my money and find friends who liked me for who I am.

Great bathrooms come in easy steps

Designing your bathroom is really a challenging and fun thing to do. For some, it is difficult but you can actually make it a bit easier by simply using your creative minds and hands. All you need is some colors, a good matching talent and you’re all done. If you have modern bath vanities then better to pair it up with colorful paint walls and flooring to add some dramatic look and lessen the boredom. Make sure to match other stuffs inside your bathroom with your designs and you will see that it will be transformed into something really nice without hurting your pockets and your hands.

Women are natures masterpiece

I have seen many beautiful things in my life in nature; from Niagara Falls to the Ocean, but there is no comparison to the greatest beauty of all in my eyes, women. When I think of the most beautiful thing, I picture something I would want to look at every day for the rest of my life. And I have never found anything so intriguing or uplifting as the face of a beautiful woman. I could spend the rest of my life in a box as long as I had a woman there. In my eyes there really is no competition.

No debt equals easy living

The first thing I would do is pay off all my debts and buy a house. I do not see many things other than that changing. Sure I would take more vacations and work less. But I think I would still be involved in my field to some degree. I would like to start a non- profit or foundation with my own ideals and objectives. That might be a big change. I’d like to think I would still be myself, as in the money would not go to my head and I would not act all superior, but who really knows. Overall the biggest change would just be eliminating bills. That would be change enough.

Where can you Find Cheap Bathroom Vanities?

Bathroom vanities come in different designs, features, and most especially in prices. But most of them are expensive. If your budget is tight, you don’t have to worry because with proper canvassing and sorting, you may be able to find cheap bathroom vanities without compromising the quality and durability. How can you do this? The internet is the best place to start with. You may sort some websites and see for yourself if their best selling bathroom vanities are on sale. But you must also include reading the reviews. Another way is to go to each different furniture store and see if there is a bathroom vanity that suits your budget.

Food for thought

Food is very important to me. I feel that I had to limit my culinary selection to mere trio, I would make it flexible. They would have to be Flour, Eggs and bacon. My reasons are entirely utilitarian. Flour is a universally flexible starch; I could make bread or cakes with it. Eggs are so versatile! Did you know that the folds in a chef’s hat used to represent each way a chef mastered the preparation of an egg? Finally there is bacon. Bacon is really awesome. But also, I need a source of fat if I want to cook my eggs. There is an additional benefit of salt content. Often dishes with bacon have no need for additional sodium. It’s not flashy, but I believe my selection of food is versatile.

Choosing the Best Bath Vanity Cabinets

All of the bath vanities have bath vanity cabinets for storage. This is beneficial because you can now have an organize bathroom by keeping your other towels and linens inside it. And, your visitors will not be able to see a cluttered bathroom which they will surely appreciate. That’s why in choosing a bath vanity, one of your considerations is the cabinet. The larger the bath vanity is, the more cabinets you may have. However, if your bathroom is just small, you may add other cabinets aside from the bath vanity. You just see to it that you will still have enough space where you can move freely while using the bathroom.

For me money is not important

For me money is not important, money cannot buy peace, sleep, health, education and other important issues of life. But in case, if I win a lottery (the chances are very remote), I would like to fix a percentage for each good activities, which cannot be done without money. Out of the total lottery amount I would keep only 20% for my personal use, rest of the money will go on charity, like treating patients, on orphans and promoting girl education. I strongly believe that if women are literate 50% crime will get eliminated from the world. This would e strong step to make any nation strong.

I strongly believe

I strongly believe being good and doing good is the biggest tradition which one can follow. Being a human being is the biggest gift of nature to us, we existence is useless, if we cannot utilize this life in doing good things, helping others, loving others and saving our mother earth, as we have only one earth to live. I would like to pass on this tradition to my kids, make them good human beings and make them believe love all, life is too short, why to waste it for hatred and revenge, live and let live has to be the motto of life.

Learn the Different Types of Cabinets

One of the most important furniture in your house is the cabinets. In fact, you can see lots of them almost anywhere in the house. This is because cabinets play an important role in organizing your stuffs. There are different types of cabinets which you can use. Ready-to-assemble-cabinets come in dismantled form; but it can be assembled easily by reading the proper instructions. Stock cabinets are more bulky and cheaper than any other types of cabinets. Most bath vanity cabinets are examples of stock cabinets. These are already made before the costumers purchase one of them. However, if you have designs in your mind, you can choose the semi-custom or custom cabinets.

Slinky Maker

My favourite invention, at least in the kitchen, is the apple slinky maker. Not an obvious choice when I think of all the labour saving gadgets in the kitchen, or indeed all the important inventions across history, but one that I really enjoy and appreciate. For those of you who don't know what a slinky maker is, it is an apple peeler, corer and slicer all in one, where the apple turns out peeled, cored and sliced into a slinky shape with a few easy twists of a handle. This marvellous invention has saved me hours when making apple pie after apple pie from an over enthusiastic apple tree in my autumn garden. It has also raised me to the status of demi-goddess with my children's friends when a simple apple afternoon snack is transformed into the most amazing food play they have ever had eating something sensible.

Getting Bathroom Vanities and Sinks

Your bathroom is one part of your home that should also be given attention. Since this is the place where you freshen up or most guest try to compare your personality with, wouldn’t be a great idea to furnish it with the right furniture. IF you have a large bathroom area, you may try to consider getting bathroom vanities and sinks to fill your bathroom space.

Bathroom vanities can also help you save space within your bathroom. Most bathroom vanities and sinks have cabinets underneath, where you can place your towels and other bathroom needs in. Also, since modern bathroom vanities and sinks have great and appealing designs, it can solicit a favorable response from your guests aside from comfort.

A Conversation with Dad

A confrontation seems so negative and violent. I think in my past I had led a fairly sheltered life, no major tragedies in my childhood. I suppose the person I would most like to 'confront' would be my father. We never had a very good relationship with each other and constantly argued. I remember one specific night when he told me he wanted to smash my head against the pavement… And I would like to talk to him about it, one day. I don't believe he thinks I remember it (he is still alive and kicking now) but I do clear as a bell. Sometimes I wonder if it was just something said in the heat of the moment or something more…

Back in the Day

I miss how simple life was when I was a child. There was no "you can't do that" or "that's a waste of time": There was only room to create and be friendly. I suppose it goes along with the innocence of childhood. Now days, money seems to be on the forefront of my mind. When I was I child I couldn't care less about the small pieces of paper and coins my parents use to covet, I instead worried about whether I would get to go to the park that day. As I grow older I realize how beautiful being carefree really is and I am awed by how much I want it back.

Selecting the Best Bath Vanity Cabinets

Bath vanity cabinets give you a multi-purpose bathroom fixture. You can use it as a sink and as storage at the same time for your extra towels and linens. However, your bath vanity cabinets should match to the space in your bathroom and to the style that you have. Bath vanity cabinets have different ranges of styles, designs, and colors. Each of them also varies according to their prices. A contemporary style will give you a clean and fresh looks. Traditional style will give an ordinary appearance. However, you can always look for a more detailed design that is still traditional. Make sure that the you’ll install adequate light so that it can still be useful day and night.

Teaching Mathematics

If I have to relive the last five years of my life I am not going to change a lot of things. As these are the first five years of my married life. And I am very happy with my life partner I love him so much and he loves me too. But there is only one thing I don’t like about him is that he does not like me to do some job or any other thing for which I have to go out regularly. If I’ll be reliving this time I’ll try to convince him to let me do some professional work that gives me the sense of achievement. And that job is teaching mathematics to young students. That’s the only thing that I would change in my new life.

The Different Outdoor Furniture

Do you have a garden or a pool at home? If you do, it will be enhanced once you’ll add some furniture and decorations to the whole area. You will enjoy each moment when you are outside. A dining set is good for you to enjoy your breakfast while watching the wonderful scenery of your garden or pool. You are opted to have outdoor sectional furniture for you to sit or to sleep while enjoying the fresh air. A hammock can also be relaxing if you have trees. You can also have a patio umbrella so that while the sun is up, nothing will hinder you to unwind in your garden. Lastly, a wall water fountain can also be great since water brings harmony.

Passport

Given the choice, I'd love to travel forward in time. The further back you go, the more misinformation and barbaric practices you'd encounter making life more difficult. As you'd go forward quality of life would improve with medical technology, and automation would make time for leisure more available. I'd love to see if weapon technologies made war more horrific, or as I hope, more humane. You could read the literary classics of every generation, without having to sort through the waffle of weeks of "best sellers" that are bland and pointless. Studying history as you moved forward would keep you appraised of everything you missed, and as student of anthropology, you could watch the human race advance towards some grand culmination. It'd be fascinating to watch; we know where's it been, I just want to see where it's going.

The Villain Of The Story

If I could confront anyone from my past, it might be one of the bullies who lived in my trailer park as a kid. He was a Jr. high school student who rode around with a couple of the older kids on his BMX bike. He would constantly ride up behind us, grab our backpacks while he rode and drag us out onto the gravel. He'd do all sort of nasty things as he rode past you, like kick you in the back of the knee, or pelt you with a fist full of gravel. To this day I wish I had shoved a stick in his spokes and pummeled his face, and I'd love the chance to go back and do it, if that doesn't seem too petty.

The Magic of Outdoor Loveseat

Are you having trouble with the space at home or your apartment? Well, if you have a sofa that's too huge for the space that you have then better use an outdoor loveseat. An outdoor loveseat doesn't necessarily have to be put outdoors. You can also put this on your living room. This is best for those small areas since this maximizes the use of space giving enough room for other stuffs. You can also place this on patios and decks or anywhere else in your abode. Through this you get to have a space to just chill at home.

Words, Words, Words

I think of the printing press as the most important invention in human history; it is also my favourite invention. It allowed for the beginning of the democratization of knowledge and the shift (in Western Europe) from Latin being the language of writers to colloquial languages (English, German) being acceptable forms of written thought. The printing press is the source of political pamphlets, penny dreadfuls, newspapers, magazines, three-volume novels, giant eye-catching posters, and every other kind of written communication you can think of. It is one of the major factors that led to widespread literacy in England by the beginning of the nineteenth century, and that literacy was also a component in major social changes like the industrial revolution, the French revolution, the beginning of labour unions and child labour laws, and so on.

Outdoor Sofas that You’ll Love

Who says that sofas are only meant to be placed inside the house? These can also be placed outdoors. Indeed, it’s great to stay outdoors under a cool shade especially on a humid day. This is the perfect spot where you can place outdoor sofas. There are many sofa designs that you can choose from. They are also just affordable so it would be easy for you to procure them. You can check the website of these home depots so you can scout for the best sofa that there is. There are traditional ones and there are also those which showcase contemporary designs.

Hurtful Mistakes

I would like to go back in time and correct some of the very hurtful mistakes that I committed to my friends and family. I would also like to travel forward in time when my fiancé and I will be united in marriage and can live as a family in the presence of God. I would like to see both our families living in peace without any feuds like those that are happening now. I wish the world would be at peace completely. In that time I want to live a happy peaceful life with my husband and children and be thankful to God for all the Blessings that I have enjoyed so far.

Confronting An Ex

I hate him for all that he did to me in college. I have lost track of the amount of time, money and energy I spent for him and his friends. And for him it was all over in just a few words “I want to break up with you” that’s it. I hate him for all that he did to me and I would really like to slap him for what all he did to me. For hurting me physically, mentally and spiritually. I would like to tell him all these things.

House Planning

I am helping my good friend Anna to plan for their new house. She is not the type of person who is into arts and stuff but of course she wants to be as hands on as possible. Since I am the artistic and creative in our group she decided to ask help from me. Now, I am starting to list down all the things she want for her house and she mentioned things like outdoor sectional furniture, water fountain, and some more things for the outdoor. She loves having outdoor parties that’s why she is very particular in making her outdoor look more beautiful and sophisticated. In the coming days, we will take care of the kitchen and eventually the whole house.

Medical Drama Mama

If I could pick a show to watch, it would be some sort of medical drama. Ever since the days of ER, I have been hooked on the prime time shows focused on hypothetical hospitals with cute doctors and nurses saving the day. I think these shows capture my attention because they seem to be based on actual medical mysteries and issues and tend to focus on relationships between doctors and patients. I know that I could never be a doctor or a nurse and so I think medical dramas are the closest I will ever come. I find medical dramas a good break from my own reality.

Helping the Newlywed Couples

My brother got married two weeks ago and they are now busy preparing for their new house. It is already finished but they have yet to complete the furniture and appliances. They asked me to help them pick furniture for their house so we went shopping yesterday. It was really long and tiring day but the good thing is that we accomplished a lot. We were able to buy some kitchen cabinets, book shelves, dining set and of course their favourite outdoor loveseat. Now it is time to arrange everything in their house. I am definitely excited to see their house when it is all done and styled.

Fulfillment

I do consider my life to be a fulfilled one. It is fulfilled because I gave my life over to Christ, and every day I strive to allow Him to fill me more and more with Him, and less and less with the sinful desires of my heart. He is faithful in these things, and I'm slowly moving forward to the maturity that the Bible promises I'll have someday if I remain faithful to Him, and endure all trials that this life will bring. And as the trials come, I do endure them, and I know God gives me strength, and that alone fulfills me and allows me to endure them. This life is not about me, it's about Him. So, as I make my life about God, I am fulfilled.

A GREAT Influence on my Life

Leslie. She's my roommate, and has been a great influence on my life. Even though she's younger than me by a couple of years, she has a great heart for God, and that makes me want to get to know God better, too. I never had a sister, but I'd always wanted one, and now she's become that sister to me, and so much more. She teaches me things about myself that I didn't even know, and pushes me to better myself. And I've taught her a few things along the way, too. We laugh together, we cry together, and we'll always be a part of each other's lives, even when we're far apart.

Tips and Guidelines in Decorating Your Bathroom

Bathroom is the place where you and your family clean your inner and outer self. Giving importance to the designs and decorations of your bathroom will make you enjoy your moment of being there. If you have a smaller bathroom space, you can add mirrors to give a wider view of your bathroom. Bathroom vanities will accommodate your other hygiene routines like brushing the teeth, washing the face, and washing the hands. Cabinets can now be placed inside the bathroom for the storage of linens, towels, and so much more. Consider the space of your bathroom before buying a cabinet. Don’t forget to include towel holders and rugs to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

City of Lights

If I could go to any country for free, I would choose France. I love to travel, and there are many places I want to go, but France is where I have been longing to go for longest. I want to see Paris! I want to see the Louvre, the Eiffel Tour, the Seine River, Disneyland Paris, the architecture, the food, the people. I want to see it all. I want to go to the French country side and see the opulent chateau’s and rolling hills, taste all the local wines and cheeses, and see where my ancestors are from. I want to travel south and see the warm beaches and palm trees on the Mediterranean.

How to Choose The Right Platform Bed?

Your bed can comfort you after being so tired from your daily activities. You can select a platform bed which gives accommodation more than an ordinary mattress. It has no springs underneath. In fact, there are platform beds that have storage below to maximize the space of your bedroom. In choosing, select what material will fit to your needs. Platform beds can be made of wood or metal. They also vary according to size and height. Some may have higher base than others which are closer to the floor. Incorporate the design of your bedroom to your platform bed choice. You will be having a great time inside your bedroom if the styles will go along with each other. It is recommended to buy platform beds for sale in your local store to ensure the best quality.

Getting Back with Nature

I often do feel the need to get in touch with nature. I live in the city now, but I grew up in the country. I spent the summers camping and playing outdoors. I even worked at a camp for five summers. Now that I am older I spend the summers inside a stuffy workplace. I try to get outside a few weeks a year to get in touch with nature. If I can go camping I do, but just a nice hike through the forest gets me back to nature. There is so much peace and beauty out there, I feel like if I don’t spend some time enjoying it I’ll stop appreciating it.

A Change of Perception

I would assume the role of a community organizer and activist. The thing that I would strive to change it the perception of the area I live in. There is a tendency in local politics to focus solely on what we need, or what we don’t have. People forget to celebrate the great things about their communities. The focus is always on the negative. I would strive to make it known how great the extra things are in our neighborhood. We have great museums, great parks and great businesses that we can be proud of. The good things we have almost always outweigh the things we don’t.

A Visit To The Furniture Shop

I've always been averted to finding bathroom vanities everytime I get the chance to visit any furniture shop. But then, my husband always stops me because he believes that we have too much stuff in our bathroom already. Well, I do agree that we have things in the bathroom. However, he doesn't need to be stressed about having too much since I make sure that our bathroom is always clean and in good shape. We always fight about my things being mixed with his things, when in fact, he is the one who scatters everything in the bathroom every morning since we got married.

Reading is Fun

Books are my friends, and have been for as long as I can remember. As a child, I'd stay up reading long past when my parents went to bed, sneaking a flashlight under the covers until I was sure they wouldn't catch me. I'd go on adventures on those nights, making new friends and exploring new places until I couldn't keep my eyes open for one moment longer. Even now, I'm still always looking for new adventures, or revisiting my favorites. I see my daughter starting to do the same now, and I can't help but smile. Reading can take you so far, introduce you to so many people and cultures, all for the cost of some paper and ink.

A Good Night’s Sleep

One day, there was a big fuss down the street. I immediately rushed to see whether somebody was hurt. But then, I saw people were crowding over platform beds for sale in the side walk. It was really funny because I was already prepared with my first aid kit. Anyway, I surfed through the stuff and I ended up buying one for myself. As soon as I got home, I brought it to my room and assembled it. I was very happy because I can now sleep on a very comfortable and soft bed at the end of the day.

Autumn

I absolutely adore autumn, with all the colors and smells that accompany them. The crisp clear air makes for a nice walk at this time of year. Walking trails near me are so inviting as they are usually dry and well-packed allowing for sure footing during a walk through the woods. No other time of year offers so many sights and sounds as the fall. Animals such as squirrels and chipmunks scurry everywhere, loading up on nuts for winter and the birds are also. The wondrous flocks of geese heading south, calling aloud are a sight everyone should see at least once in their lives.

Wal-Mart

This morning was an eventful one as the local Wallmart, being 24 hrs for Xmas, was my first stop. A chilly walk but very invigorating. Trying to beat the crowds you know. They had a good selection and the new Angelina Jolie movie, Salt, was $2 off so I figured I better be there early before they sold out. Then on to the donut shop to meet and greet with the regulars, kinda catch up on the new gossip. After that the walk home was a bit slippery due to the overnight freeze on top of the slightly thawed puddles from yesterday.

Designing Your Bathroom

Our bathrooms may not be the most favourite part of our house but we don’t realize that we spend a lot of time it in. There it is important that we make design it to be as pretty and nice as it can be. Modern vessel sink vanities add a classy touch to our bathrooms. Who wouldn’t want to spend time grooming and preening one’s self in a beautifully and elegantly designed vanity. We will surely a feel lot prettier when we see ourselves in such beautifully designed vanities. We will surely spend more time in the bathroom grooming ourselves.

Being Winter

My favorite season has and always been winter. Somehow, the heat in summer is always a deterrent to be outdoors. In winter, the weather in our part of the land becomes very pleasant and hence very conducive to a lot of activities. We organize most parties in winter, so as to have a good time. Usually, these parties run late into the nights and with bonfires, it is a great time. The booze parties during winters are a great plus. On a lighter side, it gives so much of a pleasure sleeping in the night and early morning.

House Renovation Plan

My dad is a retired engineer who worked for 20 years on building constructions and planning. That year Mom and Dad planned to renovate the whole house since they both wanted to have fresh new one that follows the trend of the modern world. Our house was designed and built with my Dad as the engineer of course. It was stereotyped as one of the traditional Spanish homes in our country land. However, Dad noticed that he wanted to have a new house with modern features together with furniture’s like those Optima massage chair he saw from one of the shops we checked out the last time we went to the mall. So after some few planning and canvassing the renovation will take place a month away from now.

Effective Management of Time

I have heard many people telling that they would have done the assigned job far better if they had got some more time. But I strongly believe that if one knows to manage time effectively and efficiently, he can make wonders in his life. Everybody has 24 hours a day. But many people utilize it in such a way that they have got 48 hours. Before performing any task, we should set a timeline for it. If we have a number of tasks to be performed, we should have a priority list for it. Try to remain effective throughout your life.

Chennai – The Queen of Coromandel

We live in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, which is considered as the nucleus of Dravidian Culture in India. Chennai was previously called as Madras. This is a metro city in India. We have been here for the last 5 years. We moved to Chennai when my husband got a nice working opportunity in a company over here. Even though this place is very much hot when compared to our native place, we started to love the people here because of the hospitality they shown to us. Chennai is a best place to settle down while considering the education of the kids as it is one of the best educational centre in India.

Welcome Your Visitors Warmly With Patio Furniture

One of the most important parts of our house is a space where your visitors can stay whenever they give you a visit. It must be a place where they can move freely and more comfortably and because they are guests, they deserved to feel like they are just in their own homes. That is also the reason why putting different kinds of patio furniture outside your house is also a must because that is a place where they can stay without feeling hot or uncomfortable so make sure that it will always look very welcoming and cozy. These patio furniture will surely let your visitors feel that they are special and are always welcome to your house.

Casual At Home

It was Friday and I had no plans at all for today. I woke up in my sleeping clothes, which consisted of gym shorts and a red shirt. My hair was all tangled up and I smelled of tobacco. After dropping off my brother at the bus stop, I took a nice hot shower and put on a new set of clothes which consisted of boxer shorts and an old casino shirt. Whenever I’m at home, I just put on anything that is comfortable, which are usually oversized shirts and sleeping shorts. However, when I go out, that is a different story. I usually get more dressed up in jeans and nice tops.

The Vanity of the Bathroom

The bathroom is not just a mere room where we can attend to our personal needs. The bathroom during the olden days was such a yawn. It was a traditional tiny room with 5 feet by 8 feet dimension. Today’ bathrooms are already made great sophistication. There are now lots of bath vanities. The bathroom is now converted in to a sun room, lounging areas, sauna and dressing room. It has indeed improved a lot. We are luckier nowadays because we have a bathroom though oftentimes we do not really give meaning to our bathrooms. Freshen up and enjoy the vanities of the bath.

Adjusting to A Simple Life

We ended up moving to a small town, but since everything is so much cheaper the farther away you move from town, we were able to afford to live on Main Street downtown in a building made during the year 1925. It’s beautiful here, and life is so simple. The town rolls up its sidewalks at 8pm every night except Sunday, when everything is closed. At first, it was really frustrating, but we learned to entertain ourselves. It’s actually been a really lovely exercise of patience and made me happier with the solitude.

Kentucky Experience

Two years ago, we went to Louisville, Kentucky for a long weekend. It was my birthday and we stayed in a historic Victorian bed and breakfast. Louisville has the largest collection of Victorian homes in the country and just being there is so breathtakingly relaxing with historic artefacts. We spent the weekend sleeping in and eating anything we wanted – it was really luxurious. We didn’t necessarily do anything; it was just the first time we’d been on vacation together. We did go to the Louisville Slugger factory and museum, and we saw Babe Ruth’s baseball bat. It was nerdy but I enjoyed it so much.
