Your Private Place

Our house is a place where we can live peacefully and privately. It is where we are comfortable more than any place in the world. If we want to keep it simple as possible, we are free to do that but if we want an exquisite one, we have many things to consider.

Let us skip the process of building a house. In this case let us assume everything is in order except for the furniture sets. There are many pieces especially made for a particular living space. Like for example there are many couches and chairs for living rooms, dining sets and kitchen utensils, loft beds with desk and bath vanities.

All we have to do is choose which style we will consider. If you are thinking of the money, worry no more because with patience, we can find many pieces on sale. 

Rest For A While

We work hard because of our family. When we go home, we just want to eat, kiss and hug our loved ones and then go to sleep. We should eat first. Eating is essential in the conduct of everyday life for without it, we will surely die out of hunger. Our body needs food and nutrients for it to work properly.

The greatest feeling is to kiss and hug our loved ones. It can serve as our inspiration and motivation to keep pushing on. We will be amazed how a simple kiss or hug can change everything including our mood and our exhaustion.

But of course we all need sleep. No matter how busy we get, we should find time sleeping to renew our energies. There are many modern bedroom set in store for us if we consider it. We deserve a soft bed.    

I Travel to Have Fun

Who are my travel buddies? They are not family. I have been there and done that. They are not my wives or girlfriends (not married -- thank GOD). Nor are they friends from work. The people I tend to travel with are the ones I have common interests. For instance, on my last travel jaunt, I went to Las Vegas for a Star Trek Convention. We saw Avery Brooks, who was Captain Sisko from Deep Space Nine, and Nichelle Nichols from the original series Star Trek. My friends and I collected autographs, watched videos, and upcoming attractions. On another travel gig, a travel companion and I went Mexico -- Cancun specifically -- and we sat on the beach. We went swimming in the cyan blue ocean. We went too quite a few bars and a pirate themed restaurant. I think of this trip, often, and it is the reason why I do not travel with girlfriends to this day. Although, I have pleasant memories, when we return from the trip “the companion” soon broke up afterwards. So I only travel with people that have a vested interest in having fun and have a common interest, such as science fiction -- or anthropology.

The House Where I Live

There are two living rooms in the house I live, and both have a huge window to offer panorama. Since the rooms are situated on the same side, I plan to raise a wall in one of those instead of the window, so I could set up a canvas there. Recently I have made a superb purchase of a projector, and that wall would make one splendid base for a home cinema experience. Yet another reason that this arrangement might be realized in the future is that my girlfriend and I are both avid video game players, and we prefer to play the recent favourites in larger than life fashion.

Interested In Travelling

When I’m travelling, I am interested in the history of a place, but only because it has helped to shape the present culture and psyche of its people. I tend to prefer cultural museums over art museums and get little pleasure from visiting churches or looking at interesting buildings (unless I am with my father, who inevitably can explain why the building is architecturally significant from a structural point of view – that is endlessly fascinating).What I do love about travel are sensory experiences. I can easily spend a day in a food market, sampling local delicacies, watching how the local people choose produce and bargain for things, discovering interesting new products and food items and chatting to the vendors. Good eating is very important to me when travelling .Similarly; we noted that we would walk hours to see a waterfall or other natural wonders. I love a good hike and checking out weird spiders, berries and mushrooms in a forest, or just riding a bike just outside the city centre.
