A Spirit-filled Evening

It was evident as people were arriving that the camaraderie in the home was blossoming, even though few of us knew each other very well. Some had been together in this church choir for at least two decades; others, for less than two months. Still, the "new" people felt as much a part of the group as the veterans. As we gathered to pray and then share the pot-luck meal, we were all overcome by the sensation that what we were feeling was the presence of the Holy Spirit among us, as each heart was filled with the love only God could provide. It was an experience still talked about among us today.
